About me
Hello everyone! My name is Carmen, I was born in Valencia and I live in Valencia.
I studied Art History at the University of Valencia and then moved to Geneva (Switzerland) for four years, where I studied a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and worked as a teacher.
When I returned to Valencia, to my homeland, I felt it differently: surprisingly more beautiful, more vibrant, more interesting. I was seduced by the idea of returning to my roots and researching my city when I met Maria and Carlos while working in a horchatería. Through them, I discovered this profession, seeing the passion, affection, and professionalism with which they treated their customers. That same year, I obtained my Official Tourist Guide qualification.
I love being able to guide people who come from outside the city to discover it; the feeling of being able to share what I have researched and worked on and seeing customers respond with a smile; preparing each tour with love and dedication, adapting it to the profile of the group.
my hobbies
Among my hobbies are travelling and discovering new cultures, architectural remains and the stories behind their walls. I also have an adventurous side, as I surf and skateboard (I have been an instructor in both disciplines). Whenever I can, I escape to go hiking or mountain climbing, and all these sports can be practised in the Valencian Community!

Very attentive

A very fun and enjoyable tour. Our adult school in Vall d’Uxó requested a tour of the centre of Valencia …but if possible in two languages: English and Spanish. Carmen’s work was very educational and she has been very attentive to the needs of the group
