About me
Hello!
My name is Marcos, I was born and raised in Valencia, and for the past seven years I have been dedicating myself to my passion: sharing and showing how special this place is to me.
From a very young age, I felt a special curiosity for areas such as history, geography, art and architecture. Although I didn’t initially think about becoming a tour guide, my university studies in this field opened my eyes to the world and I discovered that travelling and meeting people from all over the world would be a fundamental part of my life.
I also trained as a primary school teacher, where I learned to work on essential values such as critical thinking and empathy.
my hobbies
I always have a trip on the horizon, as I love that excitement of first-time experiences, but I’m also happy to return to places that have left a mark on me. More than a passport full of different stamps, I want a life full of travel memories.
I love playing sports. I’ve played basketball, handball and tennis. I enjoy running anywhere, but also walking on the beach, in the mountains or through small villages lost in time.
I firmly believe that life is made up of small moments and I would love to be part of yours. Are you up for it?

Great Tour!
We just arrived to Valencia and booked a tour with Marcos to learn more about the city. Marcos made a great tour, highlighting both intresting historic moments and modern city life. We asked him for some additions to the tour (e.g. we were interested in the Jewish history in Valencia) and Marcos did it brilliantly. We highly recommend Marcos as the guide!
An informative guide
Marcos couldn’t have been more informative helpful or accommodating … great conversation … went well beyond the bounds to be helpful … my wife’s passion is paella and he lined us up with the very best paella in the universe at La Riuà … he called ahead to get it started and even lined up a taxi after to meet outside the restaurant because we were on a tight windows to catch our train … 10 stars for Marcos !!
Marcos is an amazing guide
He picked up us at the hotel in time, explained history and persons of interest with historic pictures on his iPad. He was very friendly and with humor. He took even more time than the pre-scripted 3 hours. So, we strongly this very experienced and perfectly english speaking guide.
Marcos is a great tour guide
Marcos is a great tour guide and can adapt and cater to any group. Five years ago, our family tour with him was a playground-filled adventure for our little ones. This time, he transformed the ride into a fascinating journey through Valencia’s history. We were blown away by his knowledge and hospitality! We can’t wait to see what hidden gems he unveils for us on our next Valencia trip. Marcos is the best ambassador of Valencia.

Marcos was an excellent tour guide. Thanks to him we were able to explore the city a bit more with our two sons (5 years old and a 7 month old) without having to worry about how to entertain our eldest while still enjoying ourselves and learning about Valencia and it’s rich history. Definitely recommended!
