About me
Hello! Welcome to the city of Turia! I am Maria, I have been living in Valencia for almost 40 years, so I consider myself a local. I have been a tour guide for more than 7 years.
Showing Valencia to people visiting this amazing city is simply wonderful. I really enjoy sharing a bit of my charming city full of history, fascinating architecture and exciting bars where you can enjoy delicious tapas.
I have a degree in History and Art History so I am passionate about architecture, sculpture and painting of all periods, features that Valencia offers everywhere.

my hobbies
In my spare time I love travelling and connect the history of some countries with others, so the pieces of the puzzle come together to form a whole.
I also love to dedicate myself to my organic garden where I have been planting and harvesting for 14 years, for me it is essential to be in contact with the earth and enjoy the outdoors.
I also really enjoy continuing to learn about art history and general history. And last but not least, I love hiking in the countryside!

A wonderful experience with Maria
We were a group of 20 people and everyone was very complementary about the wonderful walking tour we had with Maria, she was super well informed and shared her knowledge in a very pleasant manner. I had a great time learning about street art and artists in Valencia. Maria was an amazing guide, who gave me so much information. It was a great way to spend the morning. I highly recommend this tour.
Great context for art we see
Maria is a knowleadgeable and friendly guide. We learned a lot about the artists and specific images we had been walking by all week. There is so much graffiti and paintings in Valencia. Choosing what to view and discuss is a challenge. We became more observant after the tour. Thanks Maria, you did a great job!

Highly recommend a tour of Valencia with Maria! Very knowledgeable about all things Valencia both location and historical. A wealth of information in 1.5 hours. It gave us a great overall feel for the city and we were able to navigate very well around after it. Her English is excellent so no issues with comprehension at all. Highly recommend!
