I am Valencian by birth but have lived anbroad for most of my life. I occasionally returned to my roots and the capital city of my ancestral history. Maria made me discover parts and stories of the city I did not know and I will be forever grateful to her. She is kind and elegant in her way of describing the city’s history. In the evening of our visit we followed up on one of her dinner recommendations and it was everything we had hoped for. She is truly a gem.

Maria is very knowledgable and knows a lot of facts about the history of Valencia and the art and architecture of all the historic landmarks and buildings which was perfect and exactly what I was looking for on my day tour to Valencia.

Our guide Maria was great and gave us a good introduction to a lot of features in the old town as well as being ready and able to answer questions on a number of topics about the city. The various food stops were all busy (proving just how good they were) but spaces had been pre-booked for us. Maria had selected a great set based upon her detailed knowledge, prior visits to them (and many others) and a deep interest in the subject. A first-class experience.

We were a group of 4, only 1 of which, had visited the city before. Our guide Maria, provided a perfect guide, showing us places of interest and great little tapas bars, that we wouldn’t have found ourselves. For us the tour was informative, without being boring, and with the drinks and tapas, at perfect intervals, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you Maria! Although you may have got us addicted to Agua de Valencia.

We had a great walk through Valencia with nice and tasty stopovers at local Restaurants. Maria is very insightful and an all around nice person. I can highly recommend taking a guided tour with her.
